Our friend Christian Bloch (professional 3D artist) opened his new site on HDRI to feature his new "The HDRI Handbook" (soon to be published by Rocky Nook). We think this book is an excellent reference book on HDRI. That his book covers a small section authored by Uwe Steinmueller has nothing really to do with this judgment.

8/15/2007 New DOP HDR workshop: "Capture more Light"

We are pleased to launch a completely new designed workshop in San Francisco. We teamed up with "Future Light Digital Workshops" who have a first class training facility in prime location (San Francisco). We worked hard over the last months to create interesting and fresh content. All is based on capturing bracketed shots and create HDR (high dynamic range) photos or at least use advanced tonemapping algorithms. Checkout the workshop page to find sample images we created using these techniques. If you like what you see you can be sure we will share all what we did to create this work. We title our workshops "Enjoy Photography and Improve your Skills" because this is our mission. Improve skills but never forget that photography is a lot of fun. See you in San Francisco.
