Revealed at a private event to customers and what Bugatti refers to as "opinion-makers" this past weekend at the firm's home in Molsheim, the 16 C Galibier is a conceptual proposal for a four-door, four seat sedan that could very well go into production in the next couple of years. According to Bugatti's current president, Dr. Ing. Franz-Josef Paefgen, the Galibier is one of several concept studies with which the company is considering for the future of the marque. Power comes from the works 8-litre 16-cylinder motor with two-stage supercharging. It can churn out between 588kW (800hp) and 735kW (1,000hp), all of which is channeled to all four wheels using the AWD system. Standard fuel is petrol but ethanol can be used as an alternative. To stop it running away from the driver is a set of powerful carbon ceramic brakes.

I am Using OSX10.6, CS4, and printing on a epson 7600. I downloaded and installed the driver for Snow leopard. I made a new profile on Innova Fibaprint ultrasmooth matte paper. I read the post elsewhere about printing out the targets with snow leopard and the targets look Ok. I printed out one image with the new profile and the results were good and i was able to make some tweaks and print other versions. THen something happened. I printed out a new image on the same paper ant the result was ugly. The test prints were very dark and excessively contrasty. Viewing image on the monitor using the correct profile to soft proof, the image looked good but the output bears no relationship to what is on the the screen--not even close. This is unusual behavior. Do I have a color management problems?

I tried printing out an image with my usual paper and profile with the same ugly result.

Hallo,

I'm trying to get a better understanding of color in general so I can better understand color management before I buy a new external monitor. Does this sound right?

The sun sends us white light which is a mixture of all the monochromatic colors that our eyes are sensitive to and when we mix both sides of the monochromatic spectrum, we get the extra spectral purples. We can then mix all of the monochromatic colors/extra spectral purples with with white to create less saturated colors. And Black is simply what we see when there is no light present at all. Does this explain how every single color is made? What about mixing the monochromatic colors/extra spectral purples with different grays or even black?

Does this explain how every single color is made? What about mixing the monochromatic colors/extra spectral purples with different grays or even black?

Lamborghini adds to the special edition of supercars with the official unveiling of the Murcielago LP650-4 variant, a beefier, brawnier - and yes, even more aggressive - version of the standard Murci. The car gets a 650hp (485kW) 6.5L V12 mill like that found in the Reventon. That amount of Raging Bull will get the AWD supercar to 62mph (100km/h) in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 205mph (330km/h). This upgraded power bump will be unique to the LP650-4 Roadster, according to Lamborghini.
ANy suggestions as to what I am seeing and why??

Tuesday—opened and set up new MacPro.. Migrated everything from Old to New computer.

Tuesday—Apple does not support migration from OSX 10.4.11 to 10.6.

Had to move stuff manually to new Machine—Done on Wednesday— after one hour on phone with Adobe tech support Did clean install of Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 2.0 per Adobe. This meant having to install all plugging individually.

Wednesday
Lightroom did not see the catalogue on my external hard drive, and HDR merge in Photoshop do not work. After 45 Minutes of waiting for Adobe to answer and listening to music—no one answered

Thursday—after 60 Minutes of waiting and listening to music from ADOBE, no one answered. I even tried to reach Customer support instead of Tech support with no success. Searched adobe website for help without success.

Friday. After 30 minutes of waiting, no contact with tech support was achieved. I then tried Customer support and reached a Human, who transferred me to tech support. I first talked to an agent whom I could not understand, and he then transferred me to another agent, higher-level agent. I spent about one hour with this person and one of my main problems was solved, I think.

When the second problem was investigated, After about 20 Minutes, I was told there was a solution, but I would have to establish and one time contract for $39 to fix my problem because CS3 was no longer supported. No guarantee was offered, although asked for. He was not able to process my card because of an internal problem with Adobe. He transferred me to Customer service and after 15 minute, I paid via credit card the $40 and given a new contract number.

Customer Service then transferred me back to Tech support. After 15 minutes I was told there was and internal communication problem and the people who solve my issue were not reachable. He took my home number they would call me back within One hour.

As of this writing one hour later, I have not been called.

After several hours of my time over the last three days, my problem remains. At every step of this ordeal I let them know how long I had been on the phone and although sympathy was expressed, the problem remains. Every time I was transferred to another Human, I was asked for my personal Info, the Adobe ID #, etc.etc. At no time was this passed along to the next agent. Every time I was treated as a new person—Prior to then I was non-existent.

Is this the penalty of not upgrading from CS3 to CS4, even though my version is only one behind the current version? Is this poor performance reflective of a company TOO callous, profitable, and arrogant, and ungrateful to its loyal users like me

Shame on Adobe and on Apple for making this upgrade to their products so painful. I do Understand the need to Upgrade software, but do not understand the practice of making us pay such a heavy price in terms hours of wasted time, because we did not upgrade each and every time, if it did not offer enough reason to do so. Are these companies interested in maintaining a loyal user base, allowing us to use an earlier version of their product if updating did not offer a significant advantage, forcing to take the path of least resistance and upgrading each and every time they think necessary.

In this day and age, these upgrades should be “seamless” and Painless—NOT a punishment for not paying them for upgrades at their whim.

I am printing from a Mac to an Epson 4000 using Imageprint 7 .There is a very deep blue in the image which is printing gray to magenta in the print. Is there any way to get it to hold a blue?

Looking at the color space in Uwe and Juergen's book on page 59 I am probably out of gamut with the paper (Epson Smooth Fine Art).

Would it make a difference if the color space is ProPhoto or Adobe?

Thank you so much,

Hi Leute,

About video and tripods, as well as heads, there's one thing I do not understand well. Is the fact that you never mentioned any kind of monopod.
As we know there are models that are capable of rotation on the foot, including the possibility of it being stuck with one of our feet for better stability.
I think this could be a good combination for the actual video pan, as well a good combination with one arm like Camhandle or bigger / longer

Hallo allerseits,
