The Idea

The idea behind the Vision & Inspiration and the Expressive Print Seminars, is to bring together Alain Briot and Uwe Steinmueller, two photographic artists working with the latest digital technology, and have them share with you their vision and their technique, then teach you to develop your own vision and your own technique through both lectures and hands-on exercises.

The goal is also to provide you with a series of 3 seminars that address all 3 aspects of photography: finding the inspiration for the image, crafting an expressive print of this image, and marketing your photographs to a specific audience.

Alain and Uwe start from an idea, a vision coming from their inspiration, and use specific tools and techniques to make this idea, this vision, into a reality. The end product is a fine art print, and the Expressive print seminar presents the journey that takes them from the initial idea to this expressive print.
