and Filter Delivery
For the delivery of our e-books and filters we rely on the correct
email address (the one that is stored at PayPal). If you feel
you should have received a product and did not get a download
instruction in reasonable time (no longer than one day in general
after your order, updates can take longer though) then please drop
us a note. If needed we will resend the download
instructions to this other email address. We really feel bad
if a delivery mail to a customer bounces as we have to wait that
the customer contacts us.

7/18/2005 California
Earthframes updated
We updated the web galleries because we found some issues:
- Not converted to sRGB
- Smaller previews
- Too much JPG compression
- Needed some slight sharpening
The only downside is that the images load slower and you need
more bandwidth. Thanks to Jack Flesher for pointing out these
issues to us. If you already visited the site please check it
out again. All feedback is as always welcome. 7/17/2005 California
Earthframes

We just launched a new portfolio site called: California
Earthframes. This is also a new way to offer a selection
of our photos for print from the last 5 years (Either on Epson
Enhanced Matte paper or HP Satin). Hope you have some fun.

7/13/2005 New HP printers pop out photos in 14 seconds flat
Looks like HP got now the fastest inkjet printers in the market.
HP claims that they have now an inkjet technology that is now
fully created in semiconductor fabs. They demonstrated a cheap
office printer that outperforms color laser printers in terms
of speed and cost per print in the sub $500 market. Let's see
when this technology trickles down to the highend photo market.

7/12/2005 ASMP’s
position on proprietary RAW formats
"The American Society of Media Photographers is deeply concerned
at the developing crisis that is threatening continued access
to the world’s photographic heritage. The RAW format is
fast becoming the standard for professional and other serious
imaging. Encryption and the abandonment and termination of support
for older RAW formats put in jeopardy the future use of many
digital photographs......"

Earth and Google
Maps
We recently reviewed Microsoft Streets & Trips. In the meantime
we found other interesting tools to map and locate places of

is good) and frustrating (if the resolution is poor). Google
Maps with the satelite view is fun too.
