Color releases iCorrect Portrait Photoshop plugin
We always liked the iCorrect
plugins. iCorrect Portrait is a variation of the iCorrect Professional
plugin that aims especially at the portrait and wedding photographers.
The key concept are so called memory colors that can be defined
by the user.

6/18/2005 Photographers Becoming Security Concerns (Source

Not only copyright law (e.g. landscape items being copyrighted)
haunts photographers. Industrial photography even from public
places can be seen to be a security issue.

6/17/2005 Kodak
to end production of black & white paper
(Source DPReview)
This is bad news for some. On the other side B&W printing from
inkjet printers gets better by the day. The missing part for
high quality B&W inkjet
prints are now some top papers that do not show the plastic RC
look. Matte papers are very nice too but they lack the gamut
of classic fiber based papers.

6/2/2005 Nikon
D2X review by Phil Askey (DPReview)
From Phil's conclusion: "...It's fair to say that with the D2X
Nikon are well and truly 'back', a killer combination of the
superb D2 body, a high resolution CMOS sensor and the added bonus
of high speed shooting when you need it. What can I say? The
ratio of Pros to Cons really sums up my whole feeling for the
D2X, it's exactly what we expect Nikon to produce, a solid robust
high performance digital SLR with superb image quality, build
quality and a confidence inspiring sense of presence. ..". From
our own tests with the D2X we are not surprised by Phils's excpetional
rating.
If now Nikon would also stop encrypting their WB settings (read
Michael Reichmann's article "The
RAW Flaw").
