11/1/2005 Nikon announces the D200 (Source Steve's Digicams)

A 10MP semi-professional DSLR at an estimated street price of $1,699 sounds like good news. We hope to get a sample in the near future. To us the D200 looks like a very improved D70 and a bit stripped down D2x (both not bad at all). We are a bit surprised that Nikon uses a CCD in the D200 and not a CMOS sensor like in the D2x. In the end the image quality will count and not the sensor technology.

11/1/2005 Bringing Aperture into focus (Source Rob Galbraith)

This is one of Rob's classic analytical articles where he investigates the benefits and likely shortcomings of a new product. You can be sure that we will follow closely the development of Aperture. We consider Aperture a new class of workflow application and cannot wait for the next versions.
