it is photography. Means the content rules.

9/10/2005 Organizing
your Photos with Shortcuts in BreezeBrowser Pro

Organizing master images is not
a trivial task because they are big files (PS Layers) and also
request to be organized in many different categories. We created
a solution that works for us.

9/9/2005 Sony
Cyber-shot DSC-R1 Preview (source DPReview)
This is an interesting announcement as the new
Sony digicam features a 10.3MP CMOS sensor at full APS size (much
larger than the normal consumer digicam sensors e.g. Sony F828).
The main issue may still be the quality of the electronic viewfinder.

9/7/2005 Sorry,
our server was down for about 5 hours
Our hosting ISP had a major server crash. We
are now back. Some entries in the forums got lost (from 3am 9/6/2006
till 9:30pm). Also in case you have trouble downloading
your purchased e-books then send us an email (uwe@outbackphoto.com).
Sorry for the inconvenience.
9/7/2005 Adobe
Camera Raw 3.2 to read encoded Nikon NEF WB (source Rob Galbraith)
Seems that Nikon provided Adobe with a so called
"mini-SDK" that only decodes the WB info. We would prefer that
all manufacturers avoid encryption and document their raw formats.
At least we hope that this mini SDK is open to all 3rd party
developers.

9/2/2005 With
BetterLight Scanning Back at Point Lobos

Not even 4x5 film can match
the resolution of photos taken. But any movement is the enemy of
scanning backs. If all is fine they can deliver stunning
landscape images.

9/1/2005 Just
for fun

You probably know the feeling to
photograph something because it is just funny. Then in the serious
world of fine art there is no place to show this photo. We hope
you will forgive us and smile or even laugh. We just could
not resist. This is a sign from the Guadalupe-Nipomo (CA) Dunes
where the whole area is fenced for about half a year to protect
the
Western
Snowy
Plover and other nesting birds.
